Refund & Cancellation Policy

How refunds, cancellations, and billing-related matters work for paid Paisaverse plans.

Section 1

Beta access & pricing.

Paisaverse is currently in beta. Paid plans are now available, offered at promotional beta pricing.

Beta pricing is not our launch pricing. Current rates are introductory and are offered to beta users as described on our Pricing page. Beta users may be eligible for offers, discounts, or rate protection as set out there. We may change beta pricing for new sign-ups at any time, but any change will be communicated as described in Section 5, and any offer extended to you will be honoured on the terms stated on the Pricing page at the time you subscribed.

Your data is preserved. Your uploaded data, portfolio history, and account settings are preserved across plan changes — including during the free trial and on any paid plan. If your trial ends, or you cancel or stop paying, access to paid features will be locked, but your data will not be deleted without your explicit request and can be restored by resubscribing. We may adjust which features remain accessible to non-paying accounts over time based on usage and market conditions.

Section 2

Subscription plans.

14-day free trial. New users get a 14-day free trial. No payment, card details, or payment authorization are required to start the trial, and you are not charged during it. The trial does not convert automatically — there is no automatic charge when it ends. When the trial ends, access to paid features is locked until you choose to subscribe. You can subscribe at any time, during or after the trial, to start a paid plan at the price and billing cycle shown at checkout.

The following terms apply to paid subscriptions:

  • Billing cycle: subscriptions are offered on monthly or annual billing cycles, as selected at checkout.
  • Currency: payments are currently charged in Indian Rupees (INR). Support for additional currencies will be added later; when available, the applicable currency will be shown at checkout based on your billing region.
  • Auto-renewal: subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Payment methods: payments are processed through our third-party payment gateway partner(s).
We do not store your payment card details. Card information is handled by our payment gateway partner and is never stored on Paisaverse servers.

How cancellation works.

Cancelling your subscription

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at billing@paisaverse.com.

  • Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged for the next billing cycle.
  • Cancellation does not result in immediate loss of access — you continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
  • After the billing period ends, access to paid features will be locked. Your data is retained and will not be deleted without your explicit request; you can restore full access at any time by resubscribing.

Free trial

  • No payment, card details, or payment authorization are required during the 14-day free trial, and you are not charged during it.
  • The trial does not convert automatically. When it ends, access to paid features is locked until you choose to subscribe; your data is retained.
  • You can subscribe at any time — during or after the trial — to start a paid plan. Because no payment is set up during the trial, there is nothing to cancel; simply letting the trial end means you are never charged. Auto-renewal and the cancellation terms above apply only once you have subscribed to a paid plan.

Plan changes

  • Upgrades: if you upgrade your plan mid-cycle, the price difference will be charged on a pro-rata basis for the remainder of the current billing period.
  • Downgrades: if you downgrade your plan, the change will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. No partial refund will be issued for the current cycle.

Section 4

When we refund.

We aim to be fair and transparent with all refund requests.

A. Eligible refunds

  • Duplicate payment: if you are charged more than once for the same billing period due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full.
  • Service unavailability: if the Service experiences a material outage or is substantially unavailable for a continuous period exceeding 72 hours during your billing cycle, you may request a pro-rata refund or credit for the affected period.
  • Unauthorized charges: if you believe a charge was made without your authorization, contact us within 15 days of the charge. We will investigate and process a refund if the charge is confirmed to be unauthorized.

B. Non-refundable

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Renewal charges where the subscription was not cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Charges after the 14-day free trial has converted to a paid subscription, including partial-month or partial-period usage, except as set out in section A above.
  • Charges for add-on features or one-time purchases, unless otherwise stated.
  • Situations where the account was suspended or terminated due to a violation of the Terms of Service.

C. Discretionary refunds

We may, at our sole discretion, offer refunds, credits, or extensions in situations not covered above. Such decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and do not set a precedent.

Consumer rights (EU / EEA / UK and other jurisdictions)

Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Where applicable law grants you a statutory right of withdrawal, that right applies in addition to the terms above.

How to request a refund

  1. Email us at billing@paisaverse.com with the subject line "Refund Request".
  2. Include your registered email address, the date and amount of the charge, and the reason for your request.
  3. We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
  4. Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Updates & contact.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you via email and/or in-app notification before they take effect. Your continued use of paid features after changes become effective means you accept the updated Policy.
